Spanish Teacher Training Online

For the moment, Web Spanish does not offer Spanish teacher training online as we currently offer training to all of our staff on site at the El Sol Spanish Language School in Lima, though we are planning to extend this training to teachers who are unable to attend our on-site courses, perhaps because they live abroad or have busy schedules.

Adapting to the online teaching environment

Teaching online is very different from teaching in the classroom. The online teacher must be able to develop his or her skills accordingly, adapting to the pros and cons of the online environment.

Our course will include special modules that specifically address these issues in order to prepare the teachers for what they will experience. And the very fact that the course will be conducted online, will give all our future teachers the chance to realize what the online experience is like from the student’s perspective. It will enable them to gain a much deeper understanding of the online teaching/learning experience and, hopefully, make for far more able teachers.

Please note that all WebSpanish teachers must have the appropriate qualifications (at least a degree in translation, linguistics or other similar subject) and sufficient experience.
