Spanish Teacher Training Online

The internet does not only open up opportunities for students to learn online; it also means that teachers can be trained online. At the moment, all WebSpanish teacher-training is done on site, but in the near future we are planning to extend this training to teachers who are unable to attend our on-site courses, perhaps because they live abroad or have busy schedules. Teaching online is very different from teaching in the classroom. The online teacher must be able to develop his or her skills accordingly, adapting to the pros and cons of the online environment. Our course will include special modules that specifically address these issues in order to prepare the teachers for what they will experience. And the very fact that the course will be conducted online, will give all our future teachers the chance to realize what the online experience is like from the student’s perspective. It will enable them to gain a much deeper understanding of the online teaching/learning experience and, hopefully, make for far more able teachers. Please note that all WebSpanish teachers must have the appropriate qualifications (at least a degree in translation, linguistics or other similar subject) and sufficient experience.
