USING THE VERB “PODER” IN SPANISH (LESSON 40/44)

Welcome to lesson number forty! ¡Bienvenido a la lección cuarenta! Today, we’ll look at the auxiliary verb “can”, which in Spanish is “poder”. It’s another short power word because, just like in English, you can use it to express an ability and to ask for favors. Now, in our story, Renzo and Diana are finally out on their dinner date and during their conversation, they talk about different things they are able to do. Pay close attention to how they talk about their abilities using the verb “poder”.
